Mayor
Thomas Brennan along with Trustees Jodi Caravella, Michael
Lavorata, Kevin McCaffrey and Maryann Weckerle joined their
fellow residents to celebrate the holiday season at the
Village’s annual tree lighting and holiday parade. This
year’s ceremonial tree lighters were long time village
residents Norma and Hermann Osswald.

On Monday October 17, 2011 Mayor Thomas Brennan and Deputy Mayor
Kevin McCaffrey along with other County Representatives and
Chamber of Commerce members welcomed owners Pino and Franco
Tini's new Italian restaurant Villa Gaia to 101 North Wellwood
Avenue. The Tini's formerly owned La Bella Palermo in Babylon
Village. Mayor Brennan and Deputy Mayor McCaffrey congratulated
the Tini's, "Thank you for choosing the Village of
Lindenhurst to open your new restaurant. We wish you much
success and welcome you to the Lindenhurst Community".

Monument Mall Refurbished |

The
Village of Lindenhurst recently completed the refurbishment of
the WWI Median Mall area located on South Wellwood Avenue at
Hoffman Avenue.
Pictured here on Memorial Day unveiling the refurbished
WWI Monument plaque are Mayor Thomas Brennan and New York State
Assemblyman Robert Sweeney.
The Assemblyman was instrumental in securing a state
grant to fund the refurbishment project. |
